October's Spoonful of Strategy 🥄

Hey Busy VO Pro,
Let’s face it - your inbox isn’t just where emails go.
It’s where admin guilt, missed follow-ups, and buried client requests like to hang out.
But this month’s Spoonful can change that - with a simple inbox triage system that helps you stay on top of communication without living in your inbox all day.
📬 Your Strategy:
Treat your inbox like an airport, not a storage unit.
Messages land, get directed, and move along.
Set up these folders (or labels if you use Gmail):
-
🟢 Reply Today – Anything urgent or high priority
-
🔵 Needs Action – Things that require work before responding
-
🟡 Waiting On – You’re waiting for someone else to reply or follow through
-
⚪ Archive – Everything else that’s been handled or filed
Then create a ritual:
-
Check 2x a day, not constantly
-
Set a 25-minute Inbox Power Hour once or twice a week to clear it all out
đź«™ Why It Works:
You stop reacting to every ping and start responding on your terms.
It’s like taking your brain off high alert and putting your focus back on the mic.
